BitDefender 2011 is another fake anti-spyware program designed to deceive people by creating an impression that it is some how related to “BitDefender”, which is an original program. BitDefender 2011 is from the same family as AVG Antivirus 2011 and E-Set Antivirus 2011 which is mainly promoted by infected websites and fake online scanners.

Once installed in a system, this rouge application will start running false scan of the machine and will come up with a list of infections which according to this software has infected the system.
